The first House of the Dead was a gigantic hit when it hit arcades in the mid to late 90s. The game was at last ported to the Sega Saturn and the PC and keeping in mind that it may not be pretty much as noteworthy as the games that would follow. The plot is loads of fun and I love the way in the early House of the Dead games they play it totally straight!
